Something new, both big and small
This event has three components, just like the flight we’ll be drinking. It’s equal parts guided tasting, social, and product launch. As I was putting forward the idea of a flight for the bar at Thirsty, it only seemed right that the club offer the opportunity to unpack it. Your ticket will include three full 25ml measures, each introduced, but with space to enjoy them all in contrast, side by side.

Smoke is all some people know of whisky. It’s the first thing they discover, or it’s the style they feel most drawn to. There are different kinds of smoke, different sources of smoke, and different levels of smoke. But it isn’t for everyone, so while it feels like a good focus for a tasting, it also suits a smaller event. And, as it’s a smaller event, we can use the smaller 50cl bottles. The aim of the flight, and therefore this event, is to allow for contrast to be appreciated for those who like a whisky with smoke, but with three bottles you wouldn’t typically find in a bar to do that with.
