The perfect answer to the cold days & dark nights of November
Distilling the eponymous Scottish island’s first legal spirit in 2017, Isle of Raasay Distillery is quite young, but they’ve still had plenty of time to earn various awards, which recently includes Scottish Craft Producer of the year for 2025 from World Whiskies Awards. With a population of less than 200 people, their drive for local excellence is bringing their island together. With their spirit, they aim to evoke a historic style of Hebridean whisky, with their core expression using a recipe of both peated and unpeated liquid, across six casks to deliver a lightly peated, dark fruited dram.
Joined by an ambassador from the distillery, we’ll be guided by story and sample through 6 whiskies, which will introduce us to the key things that make Raasay what it is and will be in the future.
